    Louise Adongo is a systems-focused, values-driven leader who works at the intersection of strategy, equity, and cultural transformation. Grounded in relational governance and informed by Systems Transformational Leadership, she leads with courageous imagination, clarity, and care. My practice is rooted in feminist and community-based ethics — building institutions that center trust, shift power, and serve as vessels for intergenerational impact.

    Louise is a board member of Cecilia Concerts, Tamarack Learning Institute, NPower Canada and PPX where she currently serves as treasurer and a member of the PD committee of PPX.

  • Cara Eaton

    Senior Director of Strategy & Growth at Volunteer Toronto

    Cara Eaton is a seasoned communications professional and the Senior Director of Strategy & Growth at Volunteer Toronto, Canada’s largest volunteer centre. She has a decade of experience in public relations, communications, fund development, and leading data-driven projects and campaigns that influence and strengthen volunteerism across Ontario.

    An advocate for the power of sector-owned data in the volunteerism space, Cara is currently bringing to life an ambitious shared data framework and vision for volunteer centres as aligned with Canada's upcoming National Volunteer Action Strategy.

    Cara holds a B.A. with Honours in Media Communications, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations, and a Certificate in Data Storytelling from the University of Chicago

    Andrea MacDonald (she/her) has over 25 years of experience in community development within the nonprofit sector. She is the Vice President Impact Strategy at United Way Martimes and oversees funding investments to network of 136 community agencies across the Maritimes, sector capacity building initiatives, 211 PEI, impact evaluation, and EDIA for the organization.  

  • Amy Siciliano

    Public Safety Advisor for Halifax Regional Municipality

    Amy Siciliano, PhD (University of Toronto), is a community safety expert, researcher, and educator whose work bridges community well‑being, urban geography, and locally-informed policy. She serves as the Public Safety Advisor for the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), leading the Research and Development Division in cultivating community-based approaches to safety. She has contributed to major municipal efforts, most recently the development of a civilian‑led crisis response model, CARE.

    Alongside her municipal leadership, Amy teaches at the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie’s Master of Public Administration program. Her academic work explores themes such as urban governance and inequality, community safety, and social justice.

  • Carrie Tanasichuck

    Director of Impact Measurement & Evaluation of the Greater Saint John Community Foundation

    Carrie Tanasichuk joined the Greater Saint John Community Foundation in March 2020. With more than 20 years of experience in research and evaluation, she is passionate about helping organizations measure their impact, strengthen their programs, and drive meaningful innovation. Throughout her career, Carrie has worked across the non-profit, government, and private sectors on initiatives spanning poverty reduction, youth development, criminal justice, health promotion and screening, and technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan.

  • Cherlene Tay

    Senior Manager of Standardization at the Digital Governance Council

    Cherlene Tay is Senior Manager of Standardization at the Digital Governance Council, a Standards Development Organisation accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to publish national digital governance standards. Throughout her 9 years at the Council and prior years of consulting at KPMG, she has provided governance, risk management and compliance expertise to government bodies, regulatory agencies, and nonprofits. She has led numerous consultations with subject matter experts to develop National Standards of Canada on artificial intelligence, data governance, and cybersecurity. She also leads the operationalization of the Council’s Verification program, strengthening public trust in organizations’ digital governance processes through independent reviews.
