About the Building Data Capacity Workshop Series

Over four weeks, this four-part series of interactive workshops are designed for nonprofits looking to enhance their ability to collect, manage, and use data effectively. The workshops are based on the Data Capacity Compass, a toolkit developed through three years of collaboration with nonprofits across Canada.

Each workshop will focus on one to two tools from the toolkit, providing an interactive opportunity to translate concepts to action with guidance from our expert facilitators and in collaboration with peers in the sector. It is recommended to attend all four workshops as concepts build on each other week to week.

These workshops are open to anyone from your organization, though staff who have good strategic understanding of their organization and programming and/or interact with their organization’s data systems or reporting mechanisms will likely get the most use from the content.
